Doors have two faces, but standard hangers use only one. We shaped this reversible steel piece with a prong on both sides, so a bathrobe hangs inside the bedroom while a coat takes the hallway side. The white finish settles quietly against painted interior woodwork.

The reversible shape drops right over the top of the door frame. One side holds items inside the room, while the other side puts an extra hanging point facing the hall or closet interior.
We bent these from solid steel and finished them with baked paint. The frame stays rigid under winter coats, heavy bath sheets, and loaded bags without bending or losing its square grip on the door top.
Padded stickers sit between the steel and the wood. They stop the metal from rattling when the door swings shut, and they keep the top edge of your painted door from picking up scuffs over time.
Soft caps slip directly over the prong ends. Fabric loops, delicate straps, and knit sweaters slide on and off without catching on metal corners, while smooth handles stay put instead of sliding off the tip.
