A week of pills in one case

A week of medication sorted in one sitting means the other six days ask nothing. Our cases do exactly one thing: they divide the week into compartments that open one at a time. What goes in them and when is entirely your business; the case only keeps the sorting from coming undone.

One lid per day, and why the lid matters

Each day in the weekly cases has its own snug lid. That sounds minor until a case travels: a shared lid over seven open wells turns a handbag bump into a mixed handful. Individual lids mean the other six days stay shut no matter which one you open.

The lids are clear, so a glance tells you whether a compartment is full or done without opening anything. That is the entire interface.

Small or large is about what a day holds

The two weekly sizes differ only in the depth and spread of each well. The small one suits a day of a few small tablets and slips into a coat pocket. The large one takes fish oil capsules and the other bulky shapes that make small organizers useless, at the cost of pocket money space in a bag.

If the current bottle collection includes anything the size of a thumbnail, take the large. Wells that are almost big enough are the most annoying object in this category.

When the day splits in two

The morning-and-evening case gives each day two separate wells, marked apart. People who sort into it tell us the point is not memory but certainty: the evening well being full is its own answer, with nothing to recall and no one to ask.

Its outer shell folds over all the compartments and closes on a magnetic latch, so the case as a whole stays shut in a bag even before any single lid is asked to do its work.

The day case, and the case inside a pouch

The small day case exists for the hours away from the shelf: it holds one outing, not one week, and disappears into the fifth pocket of anything. Fill it from the weekly case on the way out.

And a habit worth stealing from travelers: the pill case rides inside a travel pouch with the chargers. One zipper at security, one place where the small things live, and the case never surfaces alone at the bottom of the bag.
