Holiday greenery belongs on the front entry, but hammering into wood trim ruins the frame. We built this metal bracket long enough to position a wreath at eye height. It slides over the top edge of the entryway and lets the door latch normally.

The hanger sits across the top edge of standard interior and exterior doors. It holds weight straight down, so you skip nails, screws, and adhesive pads that peel paint when pulled off.
A soft rubber layer lines the contact side where metal meets paint. It grips the door face to stop sliding in the wind and keeps the finish underneath free from marks.
We formed the main body from solid metal so it stays straight under bulky holiday branches or thick wooden signs. The lower hook stays wide enough to catch heavy wire loops.
The black finish blends into dark painted wood or provides a neat line against light trim. It sits flat under the top frame without catching on the weatherstripping during winter months.
