Some doors carry light robes, and some doors end up holding three wet bath sheets and a heavy winter coat. We built this double hook with thicker metal arms for the doors that take real weight. It drops over the top edge with no screws, no sticky pads, and no holes left behind in a rental.

We shaped this frame out of thicker steel so the arms stay rigid under a loaded canvas bag. It handles heavy wool coats and wet towels without bending out of shape or pulling away from the wood.
Each hanger gives you two stacked hooks along the same drop. You can hang a jacket on the lower peg and still have room above for a strap, a cap, or a bath towel that needs to dry.
Soft pads sit between the metal bracket and the door face. They stop the hanger from rattling when the door swings shut, and they keep the paint from getting scraped down to bare wood over time.
The raw silver finish matches standard bathroom hardware and bright hinges without drawing attention to itself. We make this build in shorter and longer drops, and in multiple packs for outfitting several rooms at once.
