Laundry day in a small rental means hunting for somewhere to hang wet shirts and damp towels. We made this folding metal arm to slip over the top of a standard interior door without screws or brackets. It swings out when you have damp clothes and folds flush against the wood when the wash is done.

The top bracket rests over the top of a common interior door. You get a place to dry clothes without drilling holes into rental trim or patching drywall later.
The arm carries five distinct ridges along its top edge. Each notch holds one clothes hanger in place so wet garments stay separated instead of bunching together while they dry.
When the laundry is dry, lift the arm and let it drop flat against the door face. It stays out of the way until the next load comes out of the wash.
A white finish blends into painted bathroom doors and white bedroom trim. We build the frame from solid metal so it handles damp towels and heavy winter coats without bending.
